Amanda (she/her) is a third-year student at Emory studying Political Science and Middle Eastern & South Asian Studies. After interning at the Georgia Innocence Project this summer and serving on Emory’s Young Democrats Senior Executive Board, she is excited to explore – and challenge – what democracy means in America through the Imagining Democracy Lab. Additionally, she’s spending this academic year doing research in the Political Science department about the prevalence and history of racialized hate crimes. Amanda is thrilled and honored to be a part of this project!
